Well done to Transition Year students Olivia McGrath Kudzmaite and Chloe Flynn who had the honour of competing in the national final of the Junk Kouture competition in Dublin recently. The girls entered with a stunning crocheted dress made from scrap and thrifted wool. The dress was very impressive and held its own against stiff competition in the Three Arena. Well done to the girls and their art teacher Ms. Hehir for all of the work that they put in to get to the final. Thank you too to the supporters who made the long journey to Dublin to support the girls when their creation ‘Crochet Catherine’ took to the stage.
