Well done to our Transition Year students who have come to the end of an action packed year this year. They have been a wonderful group of students to work with and we have enjoyed watching them develop new skills and talents over the course of the year. They have thrown themselves into all manner of extra-curricular activities while at the same time keeping up with their studies and preparing to sit end of year exams in their core subjects. This week they have sat end of year exams in Irish, English, Maths and Modern Languages as well as doing continuous assessment in other modules. On top of that, throughout the year they have done a huge amount of extra-curricular activities including: Climbing, Bowling, Drumming, Hair Care Workshop, Junk Kouture, Pumpkin Carving, Reptile Haven, Pink Picnic Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness, Gaisce, a trip to Dunmore East Adventure Centre and so much more. We were delighted to be joined by many visiting students in Transition Year this year and we wish them well as they return to their home countries to continue their studies.
