College Awareness Week in Ard Scoil na nDéise

Thank you to Ms. Gleeson for organising events for College Awareness Week
College Awareness Week in Ard Scoil na nDéise

College Awareness Week ran in Ard Scoil na nDéise from Monday, 23rd November to Friday, 27th November. College Awareness is a nationwide campaign that aims to promote the benefits of going to college and support students of all ages in becoming college-ready.

During the week there were a variety of college related activities and videos shown in Career and SPHE classes. Throughout the week students were encouraged to ask their teachers about their college experiences and about other jobs that they may have had during their working career. Students were also encouraged to talk to their parents and older siblings about their career choices.

Finding your career path is a process and the possibilities are endless. There is something out there for everyone, you just have to put in the effort and time to explore the possibilities!! College Awareness Week is the perfect opportunity to continue, or for some to start, thinking about and engaging with all of the options that are open to you after secondary school.

Well done to everyone who got involved in College Awareness Week and thank you to Ms. Gleeson for organising the activities.
