Uniform

UNIFORM

Each student must always present herself in school, neatly dressed in full uniform with clean hair, hands and nails.

Uniform is as follows:

  • Grey Ard Scoil na nDéise blouse (available from Shaw’s or Monica’s)
  • Blue uniform skirt/grey trousers
  • Blue uniform jumper
  • Students may wear Dubarry style deck shoes in plain navy or plain tan, or black shoes or runners – all black with no markings of any colour and non marking soles. Please note that boots of any kind are not allowed.
  • Students must have a second trousers or skirt

P.E Uniform:

  • At this point the P.E Uniform is optional for 3rd Years and 6th Years but we would strongly encourage students to purchase one. (2024/2025)
  • The P.E Uniform is compulsory for all 1st, 2nd, Transition Year, and 5th Year students (2024/2025)

School Jacket

  • At this point the jacket is optional for Transition Years, 5th and 6th Years, but we would strongly encourage students to purchase one. (2024/2025)
  • The school jacket is compulsory for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year students from September 2024. (2024/2025)

  • Make up is NOT part of the school uniform.
  • Cuts and piercings must be covered at all times.
  • We do not approve of strongly coloured hair dyes e.g. pink, green etc.
  • Scarves may not be worn in class.
  • Jewellery, if worn, should be kept to a minimum (a ring, a watch and a pair of small earrings).
